You guys I did it! I created seven different eye looks, using seven different palettes over the course of seven days! That's a lot of sevens - if this was Vegas we would hit the jackpot! Hopefully I hit the jackpot with some of these looks! I have numbered the palettes according to day they were used and now lets go through the looks!
This look from the Belonging palette might be one of my favorites that I created this week. This palette I received as a gift and I haven't given it as much attention as I should because the colors felt scary to use but they blend so nicely that I just can't be mad at it and I think I will find myself pulling it out more in the future!
There are a lot of Anastasia of Beverly Hills palettes in my stash and at one time this was a go to palette but I neglected it for the new kids on the block. What I did for this look is used colors I didn't always use before creating a soft romantic look rather than a glittery pink one I created in the past.
Previously this Subculture palette by Anastasia of Beverly Hills was my least favorite, this is in no way a fault of the palette it was that I didn't know what to do with these colors and for the most part they are matte which I struggle with on my eyes. I created this look that I think will be great for Fall so don't be surprised if you see more of this when the leaves start changing again!
Oh this Naked Ultraviolet palette by Urban Decay was all I wore for WEEKS when I first got it but then you know I got something new and the tide turned. Using this again was like visiting your best friend. These blend so gorgeously and I just love the Elsa vibe they create. What a great reminder - don't neglect your best friends cause they are magic!
Another Anastasia palette, another look that I love, I went full pink for this one and had a blast! It feels very soft and feminine and I didn't go over the top with glitter which I have done in the past with this palette!
Whenever I go to Sea World or the beach I typically pull out the Tarte Turtle palette, it's got those beachy colors I just love. I usually do more of an overpowering blue and silver but I wanted it to match the red in the letters of my shirt so I used a darker red and blue in the crease. I dig this look too and probably should use this palette more often.
Do it for the Graham by Beauty Bakerie was the palette I chose for the last day. I wanted to pull out the blue from my shirt and the yellow from Pluto and the other Disney dogs on my shirt and leggings. This was out of my comfort zone but I kinda love it.
What did I learn during this week? It's fun to change up your palettes, if you have them use them but also, play with the colors. I have palettes that have colors that are all used up but there are several more I can use so - I HAVE TO USE THEM! This is always a good practice for me to remember what I have and the looks I love. Which of these looks is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below. And head over to Instagram where I created 7 reels showcasing these looks which were almost as much fun to put together as the looks themselves!
